He was previously head of strategy at Chiat/Day, Hal Riney & BSSP. He also had a very enjoyable time as Worldwide Head of Ideas at ZenithOptimedia, a title you couldn’t make up.
Thanks to partners with brass (guts), Andrew has won every major strategic and creative advertising award, including Gold Effies, D&AD, One Show and Cannes Lions with three different clients.
He started Brass Ideas to bring clients the best talent to solve their challenges. And get back to an old fashioned model where clients were actually served, as opposed to deceived.
As self confessed geek, his deep technology experience includes Microsoft, Twitter, Atlassian, HP, Dell, Micron, Cisco, Sprint, Verizon, Audible.com, SmartRecruiters and Galvanize and other technology leaders. He’s also worked on other passion projects such cars (MINI) wine (BV Vineyards) and golf (TaylorMade, Mizuno). He also likes shaking up financial services, having worked on the launch of iShares, Morgan Stanley Online and Silicon Valley Bank and would love to have a FinTech client (hint hint)
Married with two small kids, Andrew lives in San Francisco. He loves to ski, play golf, go hiking and occasionally, do stand-up comedy.
